Hello Roatavator :

Thanks too, Nono for the new link to the video ; now, we can see that : Beautyfull !!

The other (secund) Simar; is it a Swiss 56A ( from Genève ) or is it a British model ???

Hi Etienne.
The Simar 56 is a British one, made by George Monro, number 115, dating from 1949. The machine was bought new by my late father's employer, I have known the machine all my life, it is completely original (even the spark plug!) apart from replacement tines.

Hello Peter !
If you 56 is a british one, we would be very pleased to see some detailed pictures and discover if there could be any differences with the swiss machines ! Thanks in advance !
Ciao !

Hi Nono
I have some photographs somewhere, I'll load them when I have more time. I also have the original owner's manual and parts list which I can attach as well. But do you not already have these on this site?

Salut les potos !
Hello dear friends !
Ciao Stefano !!!

Stefano says he would very happy if we could gather an confront 3 machines from Switzerland, Great Britain and Italy. He alsos says that the threadings are different on the centering screws of the rotor.

Ciao !

Hi Stefano.

On the British Simars, all parts are metric sizes.

Regis.
I'll post a photograph of the identification plate in a while.
